  24. The Display Software 2.0 package includes the following features:

  26. o Display Enabler 2.0
  27. o ColorSync 2.0 and ColorSync profiles
  28. o Control Strip 1.3 with Monitor Resolution, BitDepth, and Sound Volume

  31. You can use this software to change the resolution of your monitor, adjust the
  32. number of colors it can display, and control your monitor's energy-saving
  33. features.

  35. System Requirements
  36.  
  37. To use Display Software 2.0, you need:
  38.  
  39. o A computer with version 7.1 or later of the Mac OS software
  40. o Any Apple Multiple Scan Display
  41.  
  42. Display Software 2.0 does not work with PowerBook 100 series computers or with
  43. PowerBook Duo computers other than the 280 and 280c. To use Display Software
  44. 2.0 with the PowerBook Duo 280 and 280c, you must connect the PowerBook to a
  45. Duo Dock.

  47. How to Install Display Software 2.0
  48.  
  49. To install Display Software 2.0, follow these steps:
  50.  
  51. 1. Insert the Display Software disk into a disk drive.
  52.  
  53. 2. Double-click the Installer icon to open it. A welcome message appears.
  54.  
  55. 3. Click OK.
  56.  
  57. 4. Make sure the disk named in the Installer window is the disk on which you
  58. want to install the software. If not, click Switch Disk until the correct disk
  59. name appears.
  60.  
  61. 5. Click Install to begin installation.
  62.  
  63. 6. When installation is finished, follow the instructions on the screen to
  64. begin using your new software.

  66. 7. Be sure to read the files Display Software Read Me and About Control Strip
  67. to learn about your new software.
